Away from all the hustle and bustle of the cities,
Batang Padang's countryside offers you the Deer Farm, Lata Kinjang and
Lata Iskandar Waterfalls, Orang Asli or Aborigine villages,
Kuala Woh
Recreational Forest and Lata Sungai Bil waterfalls among its many nautural
attractions.
Don't miss the World War II Memorial Site where the
British surrendered to the Japanese in 1942, 'Gasing' or top making
artistry as well as the town of Bidor famous for its guava fruit, petai
bean and a 9-hole golf course.
The District of Batang Padang, which
is largely landscaped with thousands of hectares of oil palm and rubber
plantations, farmlands and forest reserves, is just about an hour's drive
north of Kuala Lumpur.
